We are adding 3,500 new EV charging plugs to our facilities throughout the U.S. In collaboration with Qmerit, the offer gives customers access to faster charging right where they want it – at home – and with the new available Dual Level Charge Cord standard on the MY22 Bolt EUV and available on 2022 Bolt EV 3. Chevrolet will cover standard installation of Level 2 charging outlet for eligible customers who purchase or lease a 2022 Bolt EUV or Bolt EV 3, helping even more people experience how easy it is to live electric. In August 2019, we announced a collaboration with Qmerit, which manages a nationwide network of certified EV charger installers, simplifying the home charging experience. EVgo chargers, enabled by the collaboration with GM, will be powered by 100 percent renewable energy, aligning with our passion and commitment to sustainability both inside and outside our walls. Approximately 500 fast charging stalls to go live by the end of 2021. We’re working alongside EVgo to build more than 2,700 fast charging stations by the end of 2025, tripling the size of the United States’ largest public fast charging network. and Canada from their GM vehicle’s mobile app in the Energy Assist feature. Through collaborations with seven major charging networks, customers will be able to access nearly 60,000 plugs across the U.S. GM’s Ultium Charge 360 1 is a holistic charging approach that will integrate charging networks, GM vehicle mobile apps 2 and other products and services to simplify the overall charging experience for GM electric vehicle owners. We recently unveiled BrightDrop, a new business that aims to electrify and improve the delivery of goods and services by offering an ecosystem of electric first-to-last-mile products, software and services to help empower delivery and logistics companies to move goods more efficiently.The Cruise Origin will be built at Factory ZERO 8 and be powered by the Ultium platform.
The Cruise Origin is a purpose-built, all-electric, and shared self-driving vehicle, and is a result of the collaboration between GM, Cruise and Honda.
The Cruise Origin was unveiled in January 2020. LYRIQ represents the future of Cadillac and elevates the iconic brand through superior technology, premium craftsmanship and dedication to delivering exceptional performance. Cadillac will be the first GM brand to market with an SUV, the Cadillac LYRIQ 7, built on the revolutionary Ultium platform. The GMC HUMMER EV Pickup 6 and GMC HUMMER SUV will offer an exceptional balance of zero-emissions on-road driving performance and off-road capability, enhanced by a unique structure that allows for a signature open-air experience. The Chevrolet Silverado electric full-size pickup 5 will be designed from the ground up to be an EV, harnessing the best of the Ultium Platform and Silverado’s proven capability.

The Chevrolet Bolt EUV will be the first non-Cadillac to offer Super Cruise 4 driver assistance technology.In the U.S., three-quarters of Bolt EV buyers are new to GM. Since its market introduction in 2017, global sales have topped 100,000 and it has generated some of the best satisfaction and loyalty ratings in the industry.

The Bolt EV has led the charge in putting more drivers in electric vehicles.Chevrolet expanded its electric vehicle portfolio with the introduction of the new, all-electric 2022 Bolt EUV, alongside the redesigned 2022 Bolt EV.By mid-decade, we intend to sell a million EVs per year in our two largest markets – in North America, and with our joint venture partners in China.We apply a comprehensive battery and high-voltage safety strategy and development process to every EV we make, supported by a dedicated high-voltage battery safety team.Ultium Cells LLC is collaborating with Li-Cycle to aim to recycle up to 100 percent of the material scrap from Ultium battery cell manufacturing.We have enabled the reuse or recycling of 100 percent of returned batteries, and we will keep doing so.Our Ultium battery cells feature a state-of-the-art Nickel Cobalt Manganese Aluminum (NCMA) chemistry, which was designed to reduce the cobalt content in our batteries by more than 70 percent.Our ability to stack batteries vertically is unique in the industry and it allows for a flat cabin floor and more interior room than comparable EVs that use cylindrical battery packs.
GM is projecting that its next generation Ultium packs will cost 60 percent less than batteries in use today with twice the energy density expected. Ultium Cells LLC, our joint venture with LG Energy Solution to develop and mass produce battery cells, is expected to help bring EVs closer to price-parity with gas-powered vehicles.
